The storm Ramil (Lupit) has now entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility and is now threatening the extreme part of Northern Luzon. The storm category had risen so fast that local governments made sure that they are ready for this; evacuation centers had been opened and relief goods had been packed before hand. For the whole day, the weather was still fairly good even on the areas predicted to be hardly hit by the storm but then again, we still have to be ready. It still is too early to assume a better weather tomorrow. Here is the latest update on the storm Ramil:

Location of Center: (as of 4:00 p.m.) 455 km East Northeast of Aparri, Cagayan
Coordinates: 19.7°N, 126.2°E
Strength: Maximum sustained winds of 175 kph near center
and gustiness of up to 210 kph
Movement: West Southwest at 15 kph
